Isolation for 36 Hours

I work in the organization where movement of people is very high, yes I work at Bank so being a bank staff there is a high chance of meeting with someone who was diagnosed with evil Corona Virus (Covid 19).

As we know that world is fighting against Corona (Covid-19) and it is killing people around the world. Covid 19 started from China and it spreads all over the world.  It is transferable disease which can be transferred from respiration system similar to flu Infected people can transfer disease to healthy one through saliva, coughing, sneezing, hand shacking, kissing etc.

I work in one of the top commercial bank of Nepal and this ongoing pandemic highly affecting my industry even though virus infected in Nepal is increasing day by day and banking industries are in danger zone we are and have committed to provide quality of services with minimum number of staffs. We are serving our valued customer for cash deposit, cash payment, cheque book issue, draft, foreign exchange, share related work, and credit related work even in this situation.

Few days ago, one of our colleague tested corona positive and we all were quite frightening and worried about our health. I was isolated for 36 hours after I heard that news and being isolated felt horrible as I was not able to go outside and talk with family member, spend time with them, eat together with them was impossible during the time.  

I had checked up corona test and waited around 10 hours for the result and during the time I was afraid and my anxiety level was too high during the time. There was psychological threat in my health as some time I felt fever, sometime headache and sometime body pain and sometime cough.  During 36 hours of isolation I got many phone calls and text from my client, friends and relatives.  After around 10 hours I got text from hospital as Mr…. The result of SARS- COV2 RT-PCR Assay test is Negative.  I felt some relief reading the text that I was tested negative for gross time. But  I have to take precaution, safety  as the result was only for that day and I might get infected any time due to my nature of work and after that day I am maintaining physical distance with my family member.

So I request all people to maintain social distance and use mask and we should think every people is virus infected so be aware as Nepal is being highly effected with this virus and recently Nepal beat   China  in infected number. Thus please be aware and don’t take normally.
